Raising funds at a local fair

MAAS is a 501(c)(3) Massachusetts non-profit organization founded in 2002 in order to help control the feral (wild), and stray/abandoned cat problem in the Metrowest region of Massachusetts.

We specialize in methods which are not only the most efficient at controlling population, but are also the most humane.

We are advocates for TNR, which is Trap, Neuter and Release. We also maintain these colonies by monitoring and feeding daily.

We do NOT have a shelter and we are helped by ALL volunteers; many are foster parents to these cats.

The organization's main website is www.MetrowestAware.org, but we also help find homes for rescued cats at Petfinder.com. We are always seeking volunteers and donations to help the cause... if you are located in central Massachusetts, and have a warm place in your heart for our furry companions who can always use our caring assistance, feel free to drop me a line, or one of the contacts on our main page. If you can offer space to temporarily foster cats before adoption, or have experience in TNR, we especially could use your help.
